At the EEUG conference in Athens, Greece, October 2026, I had the opportunity to present my paper titled “Accuracy of Conventional Flashover Models to Non-Standard Lightning Impulse Waveshapes”. The EEUG gathers electromagnetic transient (EMT) modeling experts to discuss how to further use ATP-EMTP software for improving EMT analysis.
It was a great opportunity to meet experienced experts from both industry and academia and to receive valuable feedback and engage in fruitful discussions on my work. It was an exciting experience and truly inspiring to feel part of such a knowledgeable community. I am very grateful to Stichting 3E for their support in making this experience possible, and for enabling me to share and further develop my research on an international stage.
